Bill is a Piano Technician by trade. His passion for horses began on a dare ten years ago to take a riding lesson with other horsey married husbands. Not long after Paula had him out in the Simco County forest galloping through the trails.
Bill is devoted to Passage 3, an off the track thoroughbred that he was able to claim as third place finisher in the Chris Irwin Win A Race Horse Challenge at The CanAm Equestrian Show in September 2005.
Paula's early years were spent engaged with a love for horses which started during lazy summers at the Denton Texas family ranch. This childhood connection to horses eventually evolved into a lifetime career of thirty years as a Child and Family Therapist. After raising two sons, she has now come full circle back to horses and incorporated equine assisted learning and recently, BodyTalk for Animals, into her practice.
Paula is a double Silver Certified Chris Irwin Horse Trainer with a Level II Equine Assisted Personal Development (|E.A.P.D.) certification.
Paula has Bodytalk office locations in Downtown Barrie and Midland Ontario. She is a Certified BodyTalk Practitioner and has completed Modules 1,2,3,4,6,7,9 Mindscape, Animal Access and Animal Talk 8a.(BodyTalk for Animals) She is currently a PaRama Student. She plans to go to Indonesia with Loesje Jacob in February 2012 to work with the "Youth Empowering Youth." Project.
In closing, Paula also welcomes all animal and human clients to her equine facility for Bodytalk sessions, often with the help of her two equine partners, Fancy and Passage. Additionally, if you are learning Bodytalk for Animals or Animal Access and would like to gain a familiarity and sense of safety around horses, she would be happy to provide basic horse sense information. This would be hands on with the horses and gentle guidance at your own pace. Please call Paula at (705) 721-7727.
